JustOne
Privacy Policy and Terms of Use · Last updated 30 August 2026
JustOne does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. Everything you record - the niyam you take and whether you kept it - is stored on your phone and never leaves it. We cannot see it, because it is never sent anywhere.
Privacy Policy
What the app stores, and where
All of it stays in the app's private storage on your device.
| What | Where |
|---|---|
| The niyam you are currently keeping | Encrypted device storage (Keychain / Keystore) |
| Your history — one entry per day, and how it went | A private database on the device |
| Your reminder time and settings | App preferences on the device |
What we do not do
- No account, no login, no email address, no phone number
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no advertising identifiers
- No crash reporting or usage measurement of any kind
- No profiling and no automated decision-making
- Nothing is sold, shared, or transferred to anyone
Permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Notifications | Your daily reminder. It is scheduled by your phone and shown by your phone — nothing is sent to us, and there is no push service involved. Decline it and the rest of the app works unchanged. |
| Vibration | A short haptic tap when you confirm a niyam. |
| Internet | Used only to open the voluntary tip page in your browser, if you choose to open it. The app itself makes no network requests. |
The Hindi calendar (Panchanga)
The tithi and paksha shown in the app are calculated on your device from a fixed reference location (Ujjain). The app does not request or use your location.
Supporting JustOne
The Support screen has an optional tip button. Tapping it leaves JustOne and opens a payment page hosted by Razorpay, currently settling to the merchant Fixifaimart. Anything you enter there is handled by Razorpay under their own privacy policy, not ours. We never see your card, UPI, or bank details, and we receive no personal information from a tip. Nothing in the app is paid, and nothing is withheld behind a payment.
Children
JustOne is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and because it collects no data at all, it holds no information about anyone of any age.
Your rights
Rights of access, correction, erasure and portability all concern data a company holds about you. We hold none. Your history is yours, on your phone, and only you can read it.
Deleting your data
Uninstall the app. That removes every niyam, every day of history, and every setting, permanently and immediately. There is nothing on any server to delete and nothing to request from us. You can also clear the app's storage from your phone's Settings → Apps → JustOne → Storage to start again without uninstalling.
Because your history lives only on your phone, we cannot recover it. If you uninstall, change phones, or clear the app's storage, it is gone.
If this ever changes
Should a future version add optional sign-in or backup, it will be exactly that — optional — and this page and the app's Play Store data-safety disclosure will be updated before that version is released. Continuing to use the version you have will never start collecting anything.
Terms of Use
What JustOne is
JustOne helps you take one niyam (sogan) a day and record whether you kept it. It is a personal tool for your own practice. It is offered free of charge and as is.
Not religious authority
The niyams listed in the app and the panchang dates it shows are provided for convenience. They are not a religious ruling, and they do not replace guidance from your Guru Bhagwant, your family tradition, or a printed panchang. Calendar calculations are astronomical and may differ from the panchang you follow — where they differ, follow yours.
Not medical or health advice
Some niyams involve fasting or giving up particular foods. JustOne makes no health claims and gives no medical advice. You are responsible for your own wellbeing; please consult a doctor before undertaking anything that could affect your health.
Your responsibility
- Your history exists only on your phone. Losing the phone means losing the history.
- Reminders depend on your phone's notification settings and battery optimisation.
- Do not use the app in a way that breaks the law or interferes with its operation.
No warranty, and limits
JustOne is provided without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for any loss arising from using it — including loss of your recorded history. Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.
Availability
JustOne is published for users in India. We may update, change, or discontinue the app at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
